David Lipman

ABOUT

David Lipman joined Blue River as Director in 2022. David has a unique entrepreneurship, corporate leadership, and business development background. For 20+ years, he was the Principal and CEO of one of the Midwest’s top medical device distribution and training organizations. David was very active in acquiring complementary assets to increase revenue, product portfolio, and territory expansion during that time. He has over 15 years of M&A experience and over 25 years of business leadership and strategic planning.

In 2018 David sold his business to the largest private equity-backed distributor in the United States. Upon completion of the sale, David joined the acquiring organization as Sr. Vice-President of Sales. In addition to his role as the Senior Sales Executive, David played a key role in M&A activity by identifying target acquisitions, due diligence guidance, and integration.

David lives in the Chicago area and has been involved with the Bank of America Chicago Marathon as a Medical Team Volunteer leader for 15+ years. He is also an active contributor and fundraiser to several charitable organizations.

When not working, David enjoys golf, pickleball, spending time with his family, and traveling.
