ABOUT

Jack Zollinger joined Blue River in 2022, as Director. Jack earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (with honors) from NC State University and an MBA from The Tuck School at Dartmouth. He is a former advisory board member of the Raymond Miles Foundation for Business Appraisal Research at the Institute of Business Appraisers. Jack is also a retired nuclear-trained US Navy submarine officer with an Intelligence subspecialty.

Jack bought a Miami, FL-based international custom metal manufacturing company in 1991 that served the cruise ship, mega-yacht, high rise building, and airport construction industries. After selling the company to a multinational, he bought three business intermediary offices in Southwest Florida in 2000 and sold them to foreign investors in 2007. Realizing he was too young to retire and becoming a professional golfer was a pipe dream, he shifted his focus to middle market M&A advisory.

Jack’s lifetime of experiences gained from managing, operating, and maintaining nuclear submarines, project management, business ownership, and as an M&A advisor allow him to understand the wants and needs of business owners who wish to sell or recapitalize their businesses and to help them maximize their after tax proceeds.

Jack is a Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) registered broker-dealer representative (Series 7, 79 and 63), former Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), and former Certified Business Intermediary (CBI). He is also a licensed real estate broker (Florida).
