Sarah Sparling, Director, brings to Blue River a broad range of strategic, leadership, and operational experience across a variety of areas. As a Director at Blue River, Sarah brings a unique dynamic to the firm’s advisory services. She primarily supports clients in Blue River’s buy-side group as both a Project Leader and Dealmaker.

After earning her B.A. in Finance, Sarah began her career in Financial Services. She built a career assisting families and businesses in protection and accumulation of wealth, focusing primarily on retirement planning and estate planning strategies. In addition, Sarah has assisted clients with business planning and executive benefits, for both for publicly and privately-held companies. Sarah’s client relationship skills, professional background and positive attitude allow her to drive extraordinary results for Blue River and its clientele.

Sarah has served on various professional, charitable and community-oriented boards. Currently, Sarah is a member of the Alliance of Mergers and Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA), and holds the Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) credential. She is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG Detroit) and serves on their Women’s Forum Committee.

Additionally, Sarah is an avid golfer and member of the LPGA Amateurs, one of the largest women’s amateur golf organizations in the world, focused on connecting women in business and life, through the game of golf.
