Rich Phillips, Managing Director, brings to Blue River a multi-faceted operations executive background with a record of successfully expanding start-ups, turnaround situations and high-growth IT and SaaS companies. He is known for building and leading high-performance teams that continuously exceed performance targets while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Committed to providing middle market companies with best-in-class merger and acquisition advisory services, Rich leads engagement teams with an innovative approach and style to ensure optimal outcomes for clients.

Prior to joining Blue River, Mr. Phillips was the Chief Operating Officer for PatientNOW. He was brought on to boost revenue, profitability, and operational performance to ready this SaaS company for acquisition. The sale was completed in 2020.

Rich brings over 20 years of experience as senior leader who optimizes operations, opens new revenue streams, and leads top-notch service delivery in technology-enabled start-ups, turnaround environments and high-growth companies. He was heavily involved in the sale of two companies and the acquisition of many more throughout his career. Rich is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
