May 17, 2023Blue River Financial Group announced today that the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) conferred the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designation upon three Blue River team members: Evan Haigh, Noemi Kinsey, and Jim Loftis.

AM&AA is the premiere international organization serving the educational and transactional support needs of middle-market M&A professionals worldwide. AM&AA members regularly convene for training and continuing education at semi-annual conferences, CM&AA programs, and various AM&AA Chapter Events.

AM&AA is the leader in providing an educational framework for mergers and acquisitions (“M&A”) through its Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor® program. AM&AA designed the CM&AA curriculum for M&A professionals who counsel and guide privately held middle-market business owners, private equity firms, family offices, public corporations, and other professional advisors through the M&A process. CM&AA course topics include: overview of the middle-market M&A ecosystem and trends; M&A process from deal origination to due diligence to financial modeling; M&A valuation approaches and methodologies; M&A legal structures, strategies, challenges, deal structuring, and negotiations; M&A tax issues, new laws, and strategies; and many more.

Evan Haigh, Vice President, joined Blue River over four years ago. He is a NACVA Certified Valuation Analyst, responsible for valuations, financial analysis, financial modeling, deal support, and outreach. The National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA) and Consultants’ Training Institute (CTI) recognized Evan as a 30 Under Thirty Honoree in 2022.

Noemi Kinsey, Vice President, joined Blue River in 2021. She brings extensive experience in Marketing & Sales strategy, evaluation systems, budgeting, analytics, and customer relations. Noemi graduated with honors from VOSG & SPSG Hellichova University in Prague, Czech Republic, with an award from the Ministry of Czech Culture for her final graduation project.

Jim Loftis, Vice President, also joined Blue River in 2021. He brings a wide range of experience in the Tech and Auto industries. He obtained his Marketing degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and interned at Blue River as a college student. Jim serves as a transaction advisor representing the needs of Blue River’s acquisitive clients.

William Loftis, Blue River’s Co-Founder and Managing Partner, said, “M&A is a complex and specialized segment of the business world, and most owners of successful middle-market businesses have not had exposure to it. Consequently, those entering the M&A arena with sophisticated counterparties need guides with extraordinary transaction expertise. Otherwise, transaction principals risk making permanent and unrecoverable mistakes. We take professional education so seriously at Blue River because acquirers and sellers of privately held businesses need advisors with specialized M&A knowledge. So, I cannot be prouder of Noemi, Evan, and Jim for their dedication to gaining and applying the knowledge offered by AM&AA through its preeminent middle-market M&A curriculum. Blue River now has eight professionals who hold the CM&AA credential, and we look to add more.”
