AM&AA Recognizes Randy Babi, Jessica Trombley, and Jason Warner with the CM&AA Designation

November 19, 2025 – Blue River Financial Group announced today that the Alliance of Merger & Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) conferred the Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) designation upon three Blue River team members: Randy Babi, Jessica Trombley, and Jason Warner.

AM&AA is the premiere international organization serving the educational and transactional support needs of middle-market M&A professionals worldwide. AM&AA members regularly convene for training and continuing education at semi-annual conferences, CM&AA programs, and various AM&AA Chapter Events.

AM&AA is the leader in providing an educational framework for mergers and acquisitions through its Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor® program. The CM&AA curriculum was designed for M&A professionals who counsel and guide privately held middle-market business owners, private equity firms, family offices, public corporations, and other professional advisors through the M&A process. CM&AA course topics include: overview of the middle-market M&A ecosystem and trends; M&A process from deal origination to due diligence to financial modeling; M&A valuation approaches and methodologies; M&A legal structures, strategies, challenges, deal structuring, and negotiations; M&A tax issues, new laws, and strategies; and many more.

Randy Babi joined Blue River in 2023 as Vice President and he was recently promoted to Director. Randy earned a BA in Political Science from Wayne State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, with a specialized focus on counseling and negotiation. He is licensed to practice in Michigan and the Federal courts. Randy previously worked at Ford Motor Company as IT Contracts Manager. He later leveraged this corporate experience to establish his own law firm.

Jessica Trombley, Vice President, joined Blue River in 2022. Jessica brings a broad range of strategic, leadership, and customer relations experience across a variety of areas. She received her BA in Education from Metropolitan State University in Denver, CO. Jessica previously worked as an early childhood educator, was a certified first responder for Stadium Medical serving the Denver Broncos and was a manager at the largest water park in North America.

Jason Warner, Director, joined Blue River in 2019. He is a seasoned enterprise SaaS and M&A growth executive with over 20 years of experience leading the acquisition, integration, and transformation of more than 80 companies. Jason attended the University of Michigan and Olivet Nazarene University for undergrad studies. He holds certifications in Business Analysis & Process Management and Generative AI in Business (University of Michigan), Sandler Sales & Management, Professional Selling and Coaching Skills (Achieve Global), and is a Certified Information Security Professional (CISP).

AM&AA has various Chapters across the US, acting as local resources for networking, education, marketing, developing professional opportunities, and thought leadership. The Chapters provide a wide range of services for those working in M&A within the lower middle market.
