May 12, 2026 – Blue River Financial Group recently served as the exclusive sell-side advisor to a leading ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) implementation and integration consulting company in its sale to a PE-backed strategic acquirer operating in the industry. Per the buyer’s request, the parties are not publicly disclosing the transaction.
The seller is a full-service ERP and technology consulting firm with a deep focus on digital transformation for manufacturers. Over more than a decade, the company built a national reputation for ERP selection, implementation, and optimization, custom development, and ERP/MES integration work – serving customers across aerospace and defense, automotive, food and beverage, industrial machinery, metal fabrication, rubber and plastics, and consumer goods. The firm is widely recognized as one of the top implementation partners in its core ERP ecosystem. This process has strengthened Blue River’s expertise and established a stronger foothold as an industry specialist in this space.
The buyer is a long-established technology consulting and factory transformation firm that combines automation and controls expertise with analytics, data, and OT cybersecurity to help manufacturers turn operational data into measurable performance gains. The acquisition meaningfully expands the buyer’s enterprise-to-plant-floor capabilities by adding a deep ERP and MES practice to its existing automation – creating a more complete partner for customers pursuing end-to-end digital transformation.
