Darrell Arne Joins Our Team

May 18, 2021 – Blue River is thrilled to announce that Darrell Arne joined our group in 2021 as Managing Director, bringing a broad range of financial skills and deal making experience. Throughout his career, Darrell focused his attention on educating both business owners and their trusted advisors. Darrell has authored over 40 articles on various M&A topics and has developed and delivered nearly 200 presentations nationwide surrounding topics dealing with the purchase and sale of businesses (including business valuation, transition planning, M&A tax strategies, maximizing business value). He applies his knowledge and experience by helping Blue River’s business owner clients in the transition from being entrepreneurs, to the next desired stage in their lives.

Darrell obtained his accounting degree from Southern Illinois University. As a licensed CPA for over 40 years, he’s serviced the privately held business owner in a wide variety of industries providing tax, accounting, and consulting services. For a time, he held the FINRA Series 79 and 63 Licenses, and is currently a Real Estate Qualifying Broker in the State of New Mexico. Seeking to expand his knowledge of what makes businesses valuable, he became an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation with the American Society of Appraisers, appraising businesses in several industries for 25 years. He came to realize his passion was as a transaction intermediary, and joined the Alliance of M&A Advisors in becoming a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor.
