October 5, 2021 – Blue River welcomes three more additions to the team in Q3 of 2021. Rich Phillips, Jeff Welch and Will Morrison have joined our M&A Advisory and Research teams, further supporting the organization’s continuous growth.
Rich Phillips joined Blue River as Director, bringing a multi-faceted operations executive background with a record of successfully expanding start-up, turnaround situations and high growth IT and SaaS companies. Prior to joining Blue River, Mr. Phillips was the Chief Operating Officer for PatientNOW. Rich led teams in sales, marketing, customer experience, research and development (R&D), and administration that resulted in 40% YoY revenue growth and increased EBITDA 25% for three consecutive years, fostering conditions for successful sale in 2020 at 7X forecasted revenue.
Jeff Welch joined the group as Manager, bringing a wide range of experience from his time in the tech industry, personal business startups, as well as five years of Arizona state and county law enforcement. Jeff’s experience in multiple industries helps him build strong, quality relationships with business owners. Trust, integrity, and transparency have been the keys to his success in previous fields, qualities that align perfectly with Blue River’s foundations. He earned double Master’s degrees in Cyber Security & Software Engineering from the University of Advancing Technology.
With the significant growth that Blue River is experiencing it is critical that we are able to add deep talent to our team that both fit in well from a cultural standpoint and also are able to ramp up quickly in a dynamic environment. Rich, Jeff and Will have both demonstrated that to be true and we are extremely happy that they have decided to join the growing Blue River Team.
